2005, flesh-tone gossamer, dusty transparencies and sandy chiffon illuminated the catwalk. The House of Dior had boldly created a collection based entirely on the bare essential: skin. Having transformed couture, the new nude logically moved backstage to makeup.

In 2009, Dior excelled and innovated with the launch of Nude foundation, setting a brand new trend. As the master of this now legendary nude look, Dior has taken the art of mimicking the natural look of the skin even further.

In 2012, Dior inaugurates the “New Nude”, a brilliant step in makeup for a glowing and blushing complexion. The skin, like the dresses in the latest fashion collection, flushes with colour, brighter and more luminous than ever. The pigments have all been chosen for their transparency, their skin-matching shades and their photo-sensitivity, which enhances the skin’s natural luminosity. This guarantee a look of purity and a maximum glow in any light, both artificial and natural.

The binding agent: soft to the touch and maximum hydration

The binding agent is of natural origin and contains fatty acids that are similar to the epidermis. The texture therefore blends completely into the skin, creating an incredible nude sensation. You forget you are even wearing a foundation! This lipid composition also provides hydration, so the epidermis stays plump and soft throughout the day.

Nude Compact : the most natural compact powder

THE FLUID BRUSHES

The full coverage brush. A denser, bevelled brush for blending in a larger amount of foundation and obtaining more coverage. The finish is thoroughly natural and luminous.

THE POWDER BRUSHES

Adapted for both compact and loose powder foundations, they are made of high-end natural hair to provide absolute comfort and to guarantee they keep their shape, use after use.

Two options available:

The light coverage brush. Round and supple, its layered, frayed fibres dust the powder lightly onto the face and offer a velvety, translucent, yet non-powdery finish.

The full coverage brush. To crush the pigments and polish the powder, and to achieve fuller coverage and a perfectly smooth, luminous finish, this is a flat, thick brush.
